Tensions transformed with tea

It can be debated that the mind is the strongest tool in our possession. With the mind humans can remove mountains or find non-existent patterns. This entity is so powerful it can change explicit truths. In the words of George Orwell “two plus two equals five.”

This is not a revelation nor a forefront of an unknown lost or forgotten knowledge. The book “Principia Discordia” refers to it as the Rule of Five. The book and film “The Secret” attack this subject too. What it is, is best left to description. Thus I will traverse this subject to tea.

I really light tea.

The previous sentence makes no sense, but a majority of people will have read it and understood.

Tea to me, is a break in my day. It is that little bit of relaxation after a lot of hard work. I use tea as a way to express my urge of a different experience. That is tea.

Tea though, with the capital “T,” is not my tea. Multitudes have argued the qualities of different tea types, time, method and even presentation of tea. I refuse to even touch on the ceremonies or history behind Tea.

What is behind all of this? Tea has thousands of definitions. In fact, every individual who has interacted with tea has a different definition. No one can share the exact same experience of tea. Thus we all have different associations and images brought up by tea. An image of this would be a sky filled with stars, each star a definition. I mention all of this even with the reality that tea is really just water with some other material in it. Tea is one thing and that is everything. Tea is an idea.

In proof of this idea go back through and replace tea with sex. Letters are just nonsense squiggles. Yet by changing one word the whole flavor changes.

Everything from before is a brain game. Only by actively playing does it make sense. This is the hidden power of the mind that we all have. Why two and two is five breaks down to what your mind chooses to perceive. For those who have found all of this useless and foolish, here is the message. In no matter what situation you are in, what you look for is what you will find.
