Something fishy at Wads

At approximately 10:46 p.m. on Jan. 28, about 25 small fish were discovered in toilets and in about 15 Solo cups around the third, fourth, and fifth floors of Wadsworth Hall. The first two fish were found at around 10:46 p.m. in a toilet in a fifth floor men’s bathroom. Several more fish in various locations were then discovered. Anderson Piercey, the RA of Asgard Hall, contacted the Aquarium Society at MTU for assistance and created an impromptu rescue effort in a fifth floor kitchenette, as well as collected several more fish. The fish were localized in a mop bucket and a number of individuals with fish tanks also volunteered to take on some of the fish themselves. This was not the first occurrence of these happenings. It has been established that the fish that were adopted are currently doing well, and the ones that unfortunately did not make it were handed over to other individuals for use as ice fishing bait.
