It is the first week back from Spring Break 2022, and Huskies are returning to classes. Wintry winds and daylight savings discontent cannot fully mask the memories of a spring break well-spent, so we traveled around McNair Hall and asked, “What’s something fun you did over spring break?” Here is what they had to say:
“I went curling (like ice shuffleboard) at the Copper Counting Curling Club in Calumet. That was a great time!”
–Mitch Stacey, second-year Forestry Major
“I went to a swing dancing event in Ann Arbor over break. It was through the U of M Swing Dancing Club, and was really fun.”
–Lily Youngdaihl, second-year Environmental Engineering Major
“I went to London and toured the Winter Council at the same time Queen Elizabeth was there, and Justin Trudeau. Saw the changing of the guard, too.”
–Colton DeVree, first-year Sound Design Major
“I went to a FRC (First Robotics Competition) in St. Joseph.”
–Jonathan Graettinger, first-year General Engineering Major
“I studied extensively for my Chem 2 exam in hopes that I’ll pass! That’s it.”
–Jaden Fus, first-year Biochemistry Major
