Isle Royal Mining Co. looks to the future after YOOP! Fest
On Friday, Sep. 25, local bands STARDAWG, Isle Royal Mining Co. and Weber will play a free show at Nutini’s Supper Club in Hancock. Isle Royal Mining Co. has a new stock of CDs; they will be sold at the show. In an interview, members of the band said, “Physical media is cool, and I’ve always appreciated it. And honestly, I like the creative aspect of everything behind it. Printing out, burning it, making sure the artwork is all aligned and stuff. I like putting it together.” Duncan from Isle Royal Mining Co. reassured “Anybody reading this article, start a band and be true to yourself… Those are the two things I want to say to the world.” More info about the show can be found on their Instagram @isleroyalminingco.
On Saturday, the Orpheum Theater in Hancock will be hosting a night of Electronic dance music, including Haunted Ghost and Qualms from Hancock, and Jonah Baseball from Detroit. The show starts at 8 p.m. and has a $10 cover charge. More info can be found at instagram.com/logan_lofi.
