Hello readers,
My name is Skylar Zajac, and I am excited to be serving as the new Editor in Chief for The Lode! Working in this position has been a dream of mine for my entire time at Michigan Tech, and I am thrilled to be steering our university’s newspaper of record into the future. Along with myself, we have a whole new team of editors, and I would like to thank them for working with me to help make The Lode better with every issue.
As The Lode is a publication written by students, for students, my email inbox at mtulode@mtu.edu is always open if you would like to submit a Letter to the Editor, if there is anything happening around the Michigan Tech community that you think we should cover, or if you have a concern about the paper or any of our articles. Additionally, you can come to our general meetings at 6 p.m. on Mondays in the Writing Center, and maybe even stick around afterwards for Newsroom if you want to start contributing – we would love to have you on our team!
