A thank you from K-SNAG

To the Editor:

The volunteers of the Keweenaw Spay/Neuter Assistance Group would like to thank the four students from MTU (4 Senior girls) who came to K-SNAG’s facility on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, for Make A Difference Day.  They really did make a difference!

We are an all-volunteer animal rescue organization with an aging volunteer base.  The girls came and washed ALL of the walls in our facility.  This job has become difficult for many of us as we get older, but it needs to be done.  We are so grateful to each of them for helping.  And it was a pleasure visiting with them as well.

We also have 4-5 MTU students who come almost every Saturday during our open hours and help with whatever needs to be done.  They return pop cans, clean cat towers, help clean the storage shed, and socialize the cats.  They are hard workers and a lot of fun too!  Thank you, Luke, Aidan, Tray, Will, and Eric!
