MTU Film Board presents Rocky Horror Picture Show

Michigan Tech’s movie organization, Film Board, is showing The Rocky Horror Picture Show in Fisher 135 on Friday, Nov. 1 at 9 p.m. The R-rated movie is about a newly engaged couple who take shelter in the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-N-Furter when their car breaks down.

Tickets are free for students and five dollars cash or card for community members. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the occasion, but to keep any props that can cause damage at home. There will be a film board member to guide audience participation.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show used to be shown by the Rozsa Film Board. Member David Abraham spoke on the takeover, “After the Rozsa stopped showing the film, the Film Board decided to keep the tradition alive! We are opting for a single showing to really make this a big event.” More details and upcoming movies can be found on their website: filmboard.mtu.edu/.
