Hello! I’m Karissa and I have been with The Lode as one of our two DLCs, since January. I do all of the layout, some graphic design, and create all of the interactive content on the back page. While I don’t write for the paper, I do control and place every element that goes into the paper each week. I’m excited to see how The Lode will develop within the next year and how much it will grow since I joined.
At Tech I am a graduate student getting an MBA, but I did my undergraduate degree at Tech in English with a minor in media production. In my free time, I like to read and write. I recently had a science fiction short story published into an anthology in May, and I am hoping to publish again soon.
