Flu season is upon us, which means it is more important than ever to protect yourself from any harsh germs circulating throughout campus. That is why the Center for Student Mental Health and Well-being is teaming up with UP Health System to help provide all students and staff with this season’s flu shot.
Students planning on attending the clinic should be prepared to bring their insurance card and fill out the registration form listed below. Most insurance providers cover the full cost of the vaccine but for those who are self-paying, the cost will be $40.
There will be a total of four clinics offered throughout the month of October. The first two clinics are Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rozsa Center. The third and fourth clinics will take place later in the month on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rozsa Center, and Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the SDC Blueline Room.
With the changing of the season, germs are flying fast, so make sure to stay healthy. For more information on the clinics and a link to the registration form, please visit mtu.edu/well-being/student-services/flu-shot.
