It’s been a short 23 years since our nation faced the blatant threat to our democracy that hasn’t been seen before or, thankfully, since. Even though the time since the attacks on September 11th, 2001 continues to grow, it is important to remember how the threat to our safety galvanized the people of America; no matter their background or beliefs, we stood proud in the fact that we are all Americans. This sentiment is perhaps more important now than ever considering the uncertainty that the country has seen as of late.
In remembrance of 9/11, there will be a Never Forget event on Walker Lawn from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
