On Friday, Sep. 6, there will be a scheduled recess beginning at 12 p.m. The recess is due to K-Day, which will be from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Centennial Park in Chassell, MI. Classes that begin at 12 p.m. or later on Friday will be canceled due to the recess, and there will be shuttles running out of Cliff Drive by the Rozsa Center starting at 11:30 a.m. The shuttle is free to MTU students, and will continue until all students return from the event.
K-Day is one of the school’s many traditions that showcases the clubs, intramural sports, and Greek organizations at Tech. There is also free food and giveaways, so take advantage of the recess and check out what Michigan Tech has to offer at K-Day!
