As daylight stretches longer and temperatures rise, Michigan Tech’s Mont Ripley Ski Area is adjusting its operating hours to preserve spring snow for the remainder of the season. Starting Mar. 10, Mont Ripley will enter its “value season,” closing Monday through Thursday and operating only on weekends. The new hours are Fridays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Tube Park will also have adjusted hours: Fridays: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mont Ripley is currently scheduled to close for the season on Mar. 30, though this date is subject to change based on weather conditions.
