2025 Design Expo

The 2025 Husky Design Expo is set to take place on Apr. 15, 2025, in the Van Pelt and Opie Library. The Design Expo caters to all students at Michigan Tech, highlighting the hands-on, discovery-based learning that takes place here at the University. Last year, more than 1,000 students from both Enterprise and senior design projects participated in Design Expo to show off their accomplishments and compete for awards. This year, a similar turnout is expected.

Although the event is hosted by the Michigan Tech Enterprise Program and the Michigan Tech College of Engineering, the event is not limited to students enrolled in the Enterprise Program or the College of Engineering. The event isn’t even limited to senior design projects– any student at Michigan Tech working on a group project, such as a capstone project, could register to display what they’ve been working on and compete for awards. The deadline for registration passed on Friday, Mar. 7, for senior design, Enterprise, and student project teams; however, for those working on an Engineering Fundamentals project, the registration deadline is on Apr. 7, 2025.
